Marie Russell

Marie works part-time with He Kāinga Oranga/Housing and Health Research Programme. Her 2012 PhD used mixed methods research to explore how bus and train passengers use their travel time and how this affects their wellbeing. Other research interests include tobacco policy, workers’ history, firearms policy, and the wellbeing of women and children. Marie's current work is gathering information towards the 25th anniversary of He Kāinga Oranga in 2022.
