Energy Cultures conference

The programme for the Energy Cultures Conference, 6-7 July 2016 in Wellington, is now available. The theme is “Sustainable energy futures: Understanding behaviour and supporting transitions”.

Speakers include Benjamin Sovacool (Sussex), Malcolm McCulloch (Oxford), Kajsa Ellegard (Linköping), Skip Laitner (independent consultant), and our own Kim O’Sullivan (NZ Centre for Sustainable Cities).

Kim will be speaking on “Youthful energy: Finding opportunities for improving thermal comfort through energy transition with youth-led participatory research.” Other topics include energy demand and development, new grid models, households and energy, energy and moblity (cycling, electric vehicles etc), and creating behaviour change.
