Kia Ora, my name is Waikare Komene and I am a student finishing of my Masters in Architecture. My project this year is about designing a self sustaining community or eco-village based on the holistic approach to indigenous practices and in particular Maori values or Tikanga.

I am not sure if I am able to make the seminar tonight at the Otago House in Auckland, but will definitely try to be there.
If I am unable to attend, is there anyway that I could gather information and topics discussed at tonight seminar, as this information will be useful for my own progress and to understand what action is been taken to deal with these issues.

Hope to be there, if not will be there in spirit.

Hello,
I am teaching a landscape architecture studio at Victoria University about urban agriculture in Wellington's town Belt. We are very much interested in finding any information, or inviting any speakers to lecture on indigenous knowledge and sustainable design in regards to community gardens especially in urban areas.
thanks
