The Centre for Transport & Society at the University of the West of England, Bristol, wishes to encourage applications in response to a University-wide initiative for which up to 32 PhD studentships are being made available, following achievements in the recent Research Assessment Exercise.8 of these studentships are allocated for the Faculty of Environment and Technology in which CTS resides and CTS is one of the target areas for investment in recognition of its strategic importance for the University.
